Hey guys,

I need help on what to do with this card

2007 bowman draft Kyle lotzgar redemption

The redemption is expired and I don't know if I should send it in or not

Should I send just the redemption card or a letter to?

BTW this is my first redemption

Any help appreciated

You can send it in and see if they send you something, or you can call them and ask if it's worth sending it to them.

I see this time and time again and wonder why people would even expect to be able to redeem an expired redemption card? You can't cash in an expired lottery ticket. You won't see a ferry boat turn around and pick up a passenger who is late. Expired coupons are not accepted at stores (unless the clerk misses it by mistake). You wouldn't want to eat expired food products.

The redemptions were not meant to run forever.

I agree.
The only difference is, sometimes companies honor them anyway. You never know, so if you don't get something all you'll be out is a stamp, or your time on the phone.
The trick is to not expect anything.

I used to have good luck with Donruss in getting something for my expired redemptions, but I have never heard of Topps honoring one. Especially with their monopoly in baseball now, they don't need to worry too much about their customer service. I would like to know what they do with the cards which go unreedemed though.

Most likely send them out as replacements for cards that they never get back, or the people who are short an autograph/Gu, or they get a card that is less than perfect
