Help identifying this card

OK...I was part of the 2008 Baseball Heroes case break and this was my pick.



the card is #d 02/25

Now.......according to Beckett this card is 2008 Upper Deck Heroes Jersey Emerald #121 Yogi Berra since it is #d to 25.

As you can see this card is not Emerald....it is Black. I've done about 4 days of research and this is the only picture of this card I have found (click here) and it is also labeled as being Emerald.

So I stopped by my LCS today and he didn't know for sure exactly what the card is. He thinks that maybe it's a sp from the Black Jersey subset.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar situation with a Clemente JSY I pulled from this product back in 08. Same Black Colored card Numbered/25 but beckett didnt have the card listed. I ended up trading it to PLTcards.

id call/email UD and ask to see if it is suppose to be auto. maybe they can hook ya up w/ a band aid auto

There are several number/color variations Beckett doesn't list.

some of the numbering is off from becketts list..

I would guess UD told them that all the black jerseys are numbered to 200 or 50 or whatever it is and some of them like Berra only have 25.. I've had some like that also..

I sent UD an email about this. Now I can wait until I hear back from them. I'll keep everyone posted.

i dont believe it is suppose to be auto'd. Useually the auto ones have that bottom of the card with a coating for the auto as seen int he one pic there is a clear line down the middle of the card and the bottom is blurry.

I wonder if this is what you have. Beckett OPG does not list a print run amount, but there is no price, along with the other cards serial numbered 25 or less. Might be what you have.

I don't think so. Here is a Charcoal Jersey

It is a lot lighter color than the Yogi card. And all the Charcoal Jersey card's I've seen are not numbered. I sent UD an email and am waiting to hear back.

Interesting! I wonder if it is just a certain chunk of the checklist that has no number or if there are variations with some numbered and some not.

I just noticed the Charcoal Jersey checklist doesn't completely match up to the rest of the colors. It seems Winfield doesn't have one. The triple jersey Charcoal card I have is #/75.

I take that back, there IS a Winfield and it is also unnumbered, but isn't listed on Beckett. I guess they just botched the checklist.
