Has anyone ever busted a case and
if so,how many autos were pulled?
For a couple of years now Topps
has made it a big part of their advertising
stating"1 Auto or GU per Hobby Box."
OK,sounds nice, but how many autos might
you expect from a random case and how does
this compare to the number prior to this campaign pitch?
Ken

last years case i busted 12 boxes and had no autos in them. in heritage it is more common to get gu's. although maybe this year that will change... hope hope. i think they hold these fancy autos off in more spendy products and tease us with these "more common" products.

There really doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. In 2002 I never pulled any GU, and I pulled 3 autographs from Heritage before I pulled 1 Chrome parallel. in 2004 I pulled 3 autos in just 2 boxes and some stray packs, in 2006 it was almost the same story. I didn't buy anything more than stray blasters or a loose pack here and there after about 2007, so I haven't pulled any autos in a few years from Heritage. If you're looking at getting a case, consider any autographs a bonus, nothing more. It's like buying a case of 1992 Donruss hoping for the Elite inserts and Ripken autograph, it might pay off, but most likely you're going to be disappointed
