I do know that I have all of mine with value/ autos/original press ect.. framed by at the frame shop with Acid free paper. If you donet the paper will discolor and destory them over time. I am not sure about humidity and such.

i was thinking about framing them, but i would have about 300-400 photos to frame so that wouldnt be an option. my concern is that over time the autographed photos will discolor and fade over time.i dont want to invest to much money in items that would ruin over a period of time. so then my question would be, why do people collect autographed photos if they are just going to be ruined over time? thank you for your response, i appreciate it.

true, but how do you protect them in humid/moist areas such as hawaii? thanks for your input. i always appreciate your insight.

If you don't have climate controlled storage, you might want to look into it. In lieu of that, you can probably use some sort of desiccant material to help remove moisture from rooms, boxes or whatever you plan to store them in. Storage boxes that seal are an option, which would help protect and keep moisture away. I assume something like that is made.
