I don't know anything about the issue and it looks very unique, but the real good stuff hardly ever sells for bargain prices. People find it no matter what! I would have a hard time believing this was worth much more than $300-400 if that is what it sold for.

In comparison, a 1972 Topps Venezuelan Garvey stamp sold on ebay last year for $555. BV is somewhere around $40-60. I'm not saying this Alcindor is not rare, but if it should have gone higher, why didn't it?
