I really hate scanning

I just finished scanning in all my Ozzie Smith game used, patches, auto's and 1/1's

I will start working on base, inserts and oddballs sometime soon. I just need to take a break lol

I'd like to know how long that took.....On the other hand, I don't, lol....Looks really good. I'd like to do that with my Chavez cards, but I don't think I will ever get that far. I have enough trouble finding the time to scan the stuff I have for trade.

I started yesterday afternoon and finished about 20mins ago so all in all about 6 total hours of scanning. I have way more base inserts and oddball so I know that will take a lot longer

Hang in there buddy! You'll get faster as you go along and you'll be done in no time!

After all of that scanning, the least I could do is take a look at them!! Lot of nice ones in there.

Just imagine how long it would take if you put them in your bucket in chronological order.. It takes me forever to scan cards and then rename them all so that theyre in chrono order for my pc and alphabetical order for my tradelists..

I will be working on that through out the week. I can do that at work, I just wanted to get them scanned in first.
Hopefully once I get them all scanned and uploaded I can build a website to really showcase them

Just amazing. Knowing how much time you put in to that, I checked all of them out. What a wonderful collection of a man with one of the cleanest autos out there.

I feel ya. I just finished scanning my alvin davis collection for a site tham I'm putting together. About 10 hours of scanning in all but I did spread mine out some.

Looks like you are gearing up for the Benchies. Good Luck. I just don't have the energy to scan, especially after a recent scanning tragedy in which I lost nearly 2 days worth!!

It took me almost 14 hours to scan my photobucket as it is today. Now there is way less hassel doing one or two cards at a time to maintain it. Nice collection by the way.
