Just Autograph Sets serial #ed with X? Redemptions?

Hey all:

While searcing COMC, I noticed that some of the 2001 and other year JUST autograph cards had serial #s of X/5- or X/100, no actual number, but an "X". Does anyone know anything about these? We're these replacement for damaged cards, or were these buyouts after Just closed (if they closed)? Here is an example:
