So, last year I wanted to add A Tom Seaver auto and a Bryce Harper to my PC. I picked up a Seaver relatively easy and in late December I got my Harper. Or so I thought. Seller ghosted me and ebay in general and Ebay had to refund my money. So for 2025, here are my goals.

1. Bryce Harper Auto
2. George Brett Auto
3. Joe Dimaggio Auto
A nice 1960 to 1965 Mantle base card preferably SGC graded

Thats it. I know that I will get sidetracked along the way but here's hoping.

What are your goals?

Since I have around 200 working sets right now from vintage to junk era, I am going to attempt to complete a set a week and only start a new set after I have completed two of them.

Priority sets would be 1962 Topps Football Bucks and 1975 Topps Baseball minis I only need 3 for the former and not sure how many for the latter but it looks like I have all the biggies for that set. First, I need to make a want list which I have been procrastinating on doing forever and for no good reason.

I have finally abandoned my life long goal of getting my cards sorted out and organized. I'll still be working towards that but I realize now that someday someone will find my lifeless carcass buried under an avalanche of cards with Sympohonic Metal music blasting in the background with my 10 millionth set want list clutched in my cold, dead hands.

I’d like to find 2 more 2006 Mickey Mantle Finest Moment 1/1’s. I found 2 last year… hoping a few more of the 140 surface again this year.

Additionally, I’d like to acquire a really nice Fran Tarkenton rookie (PSA or SGC 7 or better)

That would be impressive if you could find a Tark RC with that high of a grade! I'd guess that would set you back a couple of grand. Good luck on getting one like that and if you do, I'd be really jealous!!

Yes, it’s one that’ll cost a bit if the opportunity presents itself. Hopefully a nice one shows up this year!

You should attach a numbers list to your signature so others can see what sets and cards you are looking for.

I would like to finish the 2024 Topps Heritage set. I am waiting for the high numbers release, but still nothing on the boards about it. I am about ready to stop collecting new Topps Heritage sets. Next year would be a good year to end. That would be 25 sets 2001-2025. Or 1952 design to 1976 design. The nostalgia has ended for me, as I originally stopped collecting cards in 1971. So, the use of old designs has no meaning to me. The idea of it has worn out.

I'll give some thought to that. I don't post my want lists because I'm certain I'd get swamped by replies and I don't want to die of a thousand cuts. My trades end up being longer processes and larger than most and fairly complicted. My trades are like herding cats and I really can only handle 1 large trade and maybe one small one at the same tiime.............much of that is because of my disorganization. So I search around for traders that are a good match.

And speaking of good matches, it looks like I found one that has already completed 3 of my sets and perhaps even more. 3 down and 197-teenth to go!
