My 3 main goals this year:

1) Get to 1000 Game Used Phillies Cards. As of right now, I am standing at 919, so I would need 81 more.

2) Make progress on my 1960s sets. Plenty of commons I need and hopefully knock out a few of the biggies.

3) Try to reduce inventory by selling or trading - if nothing else sell it in bulk locally

These goals are attainable, especially since #2 and #3 are not truly defined. I'll probably fall short on #1 but hopefully get alot closer!

Scobes

1) Finish my 1967 Topps Set - 5 tough Hi numbers (not Seaver) and 2 Error Cards to go. It's all $$ at this point
2) Finish my 1970 Topps Set - would give me complete sets back to '70
3) Complete a 1958 Topps Yankee team set (I've got all back to '59, including the Mantles) (pipe dream was to '52 but that ain't happening unless a really big lottery ticket comes my way)
4) Get rid of a massive # of commons I've been saving for that ghost that has to have those 1998 or 2004 Topps cards (and many others)

Hmm, not the Seaver RC! I'll guess it is the Carew RC, Maury Wills, Brooks and Tommy John. I can't think of a 5th one off the top of my head. And I';ll bet one of the 1970 cards you need is the Oscar Gamble RC. That was my last one and it took me a long time to find it through a dealer friend of mine in the pre internet days.

Correct on the Carew, but not the others. Colavito, Bunning, Shannon and NL Rookie Stars. Extremely hard to get them in the shape I'm looking for...

I am mainly looking for these players and trade bait that I can use to
trade. I have had a hard time getting cards that are on peoples list
lately and it makes trading a little tough. I would also love to add an
Aiden Miller auto to my collection and a Bryce Harper auto as well.

Bobby Witt Jr.
Bryce Harper
Shohei Ohtani
Zack Wheeler
Paul Skenes RC (non base if possible)
Aiden Miller
Andrew Painter
Juan Soto
Corbin Carroll
Adley Rutschan
Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Mason Miller RC
Elly De La Cruz RC
Freddie Freeman
Shota Imanaga

Try to get rid of my 1950-1980 cards that are mostly VG and no one wants plus get rid of my Exhibit and other odd ball stuff I have collected over the years.

It seems that my goals continue to be about the same every year. I did not hit my goals last year but I think I did fairly well.

1) I would like to pick up at least 20 of the final 41 cards I need for my 1960 Topps set. The high numbers are not too hard to find but I need quite a few of the bigger names (Mantle, Mantle AS, Mays, Koufax, McCovey)

2) I am down to the last 2 cards for the 1975 Topps Mini's set. Just need the Ryan and Yount. Both are relatively affordable but finding them at a show is proving to be very difficult.

3) Pick up one of the last 2 cards for my 1971 Topps set. Just need the Mays and the Baylor/Baker/Paciorek. Passed on a chance to get the Mays for 100.00 but hopefully the guy still has the card the next time I see him.

4) I would like to pick up the remaining 130 or so cards to finish the Bowman run of sets from 1989-2024. The Rivera rookie is the only big card I need out of all of the remaining sets.

5) Get my 1970 Topps set below 100 cards left. I am currently at 130 left but only 4 big ones. Munson, Mays, Bench and Ryan. But those high numbers are proving to be very difficult.

I know these are some lofty goals and the chances are that I will not complete all of them. But putting them on here seems to help a little in my opinion.

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts.

Thanks,

Bryon
