Was very lucky to find out of Lou Brock making an appearance at a Brooklyn Health Center last minute. He was extremely accommodating. Too bad I didn't bring some other stuff for him to sign. He actually asked people to come up for his autograph at the end of his talk.

Fantastic! These types of autographs are always fun to have in a collection as they will hold a story for years to come.

Congrats on finding out *before* the event! I seem to have a knack of finding them right after they happen. For example I missed out by just a couple of hours a Dennis Eckersley appearance at a bank opening a couple years back...

Thanks. I mean they were giving out these promo photos that weren't all that attractive, and people were giving him two at a time to sign and he stood up there, signed away and answered questions, personalized, etc. He was extremely loose, especially for a HOF'er.
