Max Alvis Card

Hello all,

I am looking for a Max Alvis Cleveland Indians Baseball Card. I have a friend who is retiring soon and Max Alvis was his favorite player when he was growing up. I want to get a card of Max, send it to him to sign and give it to my friend that is retiring.

Please let me know if you have one and what you want for it. I would like one that is in pretty nice shape.

Have 2 that may meet your needs:

67 Topps 520 (crease-free, well-centered, 4 dinged corners)
70 Topps 85 (very slt crease, 2 dinged corners)

The 67 Topps already has a facsimile auto on it, so the 70 may be more suited to your need.

Do you collect non-card Vizquel stuff? Have a in stadium giveaway poster
12" x 33" from 2008 (photo SF Giants) commemorating his 19 yrs in the majors and 11 gold gloves; real nice shape with 4 small tack holes in the corners. LMK, Jim

Hi Jim,

Would be more interested in the 1970 Alvis card. As far as the other stuff, I quit working on the 02 Bowman Heritage Gold so that I will pass on. I would not mind getting the Omar poster.
