So, today is my birthday and I decided to take the day off from work and head down to see the Charlotte Knights play the Durham Bulls in an afternoon game. The Knights jumped out to an early lead and won 5-2. Of course, I did some graphing before and after the game and here is what I came away with:

Before the game:

Andy Tomberlin (Charlotte Hitting Coach) signed 1/2 custom photos. The other photo I gave to him which he was very appreciative of. Really a nice guy. Glad to add this one to my Mets' collection.

Richard Dotson (Charlotte Pitching Coach) signed 6/6 cards. Again a really nice guy, which I was glad to see since I grew up watching him pitch for the White Sox.

Joel Skinner (Charlotte Manager) signed 6/6 cards. Wasn't very talkative but still nice.

Pete Rose Jr (Charlotte Coach/Bristol Manager) signed 1/1 cards and 2/2 custom photos. A nice guy who is a spitting image of his father.

Charlotte Players
Jordan Danks signed 2/2 custom photos
Jim Gallagher signed 2/2 custom photos
Drew Garcia signed 2/2 custom photos
Justin Greene signed 2/2 custom photos. I joked with him about signing over his face on the photos
Deunte Heath signed 2/2 custom photos
Gregory Infante signed 2/2 cards and 2/2 custom photos
Dan Johnson signed 1/2 custom photos. Former Durham Bull who wasn't really that talkative. Perhaps he is still made at the Rays for not resigning him
Ozzie Martinez signed 2/2 cards and 1/2 custom photos. He liked the photo so I gave him the extra which he was appreciative to receive
Ray Olmedo signed 1/1 cards and 1/2 custom photos. A former Durham Bull who liked the photo and I gave him the extra
Brian Omogrosso signed 2/2 custom photos. A nice guy who had been out of baseball for two years because of injuries. Appears to be very thankful for a second chance
Josh Phegley signed 2/2 custom photos
Leyson Septimo signed 2/2 custom photos
Charlie Shirek signed 2/2 custom photos
Brian Bruney signed 3/3 cards
Anthony Carter signed 3/3 cards
Hector Gimenez signed 6/6 cards
Greg Golson signed 3/6 cards. A really nice guy who was pretty talkative. He had a really nice triple in the game.
Dallas McPherson 2/6 cards. Not all that talkative

Donnie Veal refused to sign

After the game, I was able to get the following:

Bulls Pitcher Chris Archer signed 1/6. He appears to be doing only one per now, which has changed from the beginning of the year.

Current Bulls DH and former WS MVP Hideki Matsui signed 1/3 cards. There were only 5 people waiting for him but he was only signing one per person.

Overall, a great day. Looking forward to another day at the park soon.
