May 25th - Two Returns

Today brought two returns from my flea market collection that I picked up a few weeks ago:

Hal Naragon c/o home in 9 days. He included a nice note thanking me for my letter and stating that it's nice to be remembered. He also included a 2011 Topps Heritage card signed. The card has "Player Sample" printed at the top of the card. A very nice gesture from Mr. Naragon and very much appreciated.

Billy Moran c/o home in 9 days. Mr. Moran also inscribed ALAS 1962 (American League All Star 1962).

Both are great additions to my collection.

Very nice returns.
Great to hear a former player say "thank you' for being remembered. Wasn't Naragon a catcher with the Senators, among others?
And I think that was Moran's 15 minutes of fame, but it's quaint that he inscribes that.

As you can see at the top of the card, it says "Player Sample", which gives the card a different feel to it.
