Wow! That is a Friday/Saturday show. I did not realize that.

With the Pacers in the NBA Finals I'm thinking those cards will be all the rage this weekend. Not the ABA Pacers I remember Mel Daniels, Freddie Lewis, Roger Brown, Billy Keller, George McGinnis and Coach Slick Leonard but the current one where I think I can name one player.........Halliburton?

I can remember Pacer players from a half century ago but I can't remember what I had for dinner and I ate that 10 minutes ago! LMAO!!!

That being said I think I'll watch some of this particular finals with 2 small market teams and one of them being an old ABA team.

Good luck at the show ad LMK if current Pacers are in huge demand this weekend.

Thanks, Jeff. In previous years Tyrese Haliburton, at least since he has been a Pacer has done really well.

I have a few things of Nesmith, Siakam and Miles Turner, so hoping they will move. The ABA Pacer stuff always does well here, too.

Show starts at noon today, VIP’s get in at 11, will be heading over shortly to get set up.

That does my ABA heart good!!! So glad to her that!!

I cannot believe I forgot to mention one of my favorite Pacers, Darnell "Dr Dunk" Hillman, a nickname precursor to Dr. Dunkenstein Darrell Griffith. He high jumped over 7 feet in college and at 6'9" tall he could really get up there. I remember the stories of him snatching quarters off the top of backboards and here is a blurb from Wilkipedia to back that legend up.

Hillman was once asked by a reporter if it was true he could jump high enough to grab a quarter off the top of the backboard. Hillman responded, "Put a $100 bill up there and see." The reporter, who had heard the stories of Hillman picking quarters off the top of backboards, turned down the offer.

So how hot was Pacers stuff this weekend? After that miraculous comeback on Thursday I gotta figure "Really., really, REALLY' hot!

It was, I don’t have a large modern selection of any sport, but had some Pacers RC’s and a Miles Turner auto, all of those sold on the first day.

The June 2025 Midwest Monster is in the books. I had a great time talking to collectors and slinging some cardboard. Long but really good show. I was busy enough that I didn’t really get to walk very much of it, but there seemed to be a good mix of vintage and modern with 50 cent boxes to multi thousand dollar cards.

Special shout out to @jverlander35 , we completed an in person trade agreed upon several weeks ago. Also, got to chat with him for a bit, he said he’ll have some updated trade material coming to a post soon! Also, appreciate him helping pay my table fee, by purchasing a few Verlander cards!

Smaller shows for me for the next little while…
