Hey, all -

I am guessing this is a more appropriate forum than the TTM success forum. I have wanted a Topps Vault item for some time, so I paid a relatively reasonable amount for Mike Henneman's Topps contract from 1991. He isn't in the TTM database and I'm not sure if he signs TTM, so I thought I might quite modestly brag.

I'm actually quite interested in the history of baseball and baseball cards. It's interesting to have an actual document that resulted from the changes that resulted after Marvin Miller took control of the Players Union.

Most importantly, I get to put it near my Tiger Stadium seat in my future Awesome Tigers room.

Very cool! Congrats! Before Marvin took over the players were paid very little to have their likeness on the cards. They even used to pay them w/ "premium gifts" from a gift catalog (kind of like those old green stamp books and stores) instead of cash.

You're definitely correct. I really want one of the Topps Vault item redemption cards from a Tiger...I keep looking and I am sure I will see something else I will want. (For a reasonable price.)
