Going Live Tomorrow

HI
"She Who Must Be Obeyed" decided since she can never find anything for my birthday, Holiday and father's day, decided we would get Padres tickets for next year. Mainly, because they were mostly giving them away:D
It coinsided with being contacted by the Padres about season tickets and we were able to tour the stadium and we given tickets to Friday' game vs the Rockies. We were given Field tickets down the right field line, by the Rockie's bullpen.
We had to do the tour at noon, for a 7:05 start and plucked down $250 towards next years season tickets...but, in addition to Friday's game, we will also get five tickets to what left of this season. So, not too bad a deal, except we have to go watch the Padres strike out alot:rolleyes
Since we had time before the game, I convinced SWMBO to go to the pregame radio show...featuring Padre Great Randy Jones and Darrin Smith. No one else was paying them much attention at the restaurant and we're able to score tickets to last night's game in Field Section 103...21 rows from the field where the players actually look like real people.:p So, we saw Ubaldo pitch a whole inning a stake the Pads to a two run lead, which Gregerson gave back doubly on the first pitch he threw in relief. I just have to remember not to start my Padre fantasy pitchers, when I plan on going to the game. We did get a couple of faulty Padre rally towels.
Planning our seats to be in the nose bleed section next year, but right behing home plate on the aisle. If you're going to in San Diego to visit (no new resistances allowed!! ) next year and plan to take in a game...lmk Bob
P.S. It's my contest and I can blog if I want to. :p
P.P.S. Who's hoarding all the Rizzo autos? Kutcha?

22 players swung against the Yankees and missed....The Hated ones beat the Red Sox 3-2 as Five New York relievers combined to throw 4 1-3 shutout innings after Colon couldn’t make it out of the fifth, and the Yankees scored three in the top of the sixth to win 3-2 and take over the lead in the AL East. It was the eighth straight win for the Yankees, who had beaten Boston just once in nine previous meetings this season.

The Contestant who failed to make it past game five are....
