It is hard to believe that I am pulling cards from those 2 sets for another Bench member right now. Those sets don't get much demand for some mysterious reason and suddenly I see them twice in a day.
I have to ask, what are these white backs you are looking for on the 1978-79 Topps? I have literally seen thousands of these cards in my life and they all have gray backgrounds like the one pictured below.

Just curious if you have a differnet color reverse than this card.

It ends up that the white back version is the 1977-78 set. I had no idea that there were two different colored backs on these.Oddly, I have never seen the gray version of this product as all my 1977-78s that I know of are the white backs like pictured below. I've got several hundred of this set right beside me and all are white backs. I wonder if the different backs were distributed regionally back in the day?

The gray backs look like the 1978-79 picture I posted in my previous post. Now I have to check my 77-78s to see if I have any gray backs.

From reading this topic it looks like there is a monopoly on late 1970s Topps basketball in upstate NY!
