My Graded Goudey set

For anyone who doesn't follow my blog here on The Bench -

I started a long term project a few years back to do a graded Goudey set. I've had a few request to share an "album" of the progress. 240 cards in the set and I'm just over 10% with 26 cards. With 4 different Ruth cards and 2 Gherig cards not to mention the other HOF'ers in the set this will indeed by a LONG term project.

Champs, if you dont mind, what is the history behind these? Were they gum or tobacco cards? I see that there were 240 in the set, but wasnt sure of the specifics. Thanks in advance!

Goudey was the first to put cards with gum.

Wow that actually looks pretty nicely put together after only 10%, I can only imagine after 50% etc. Good luck!
