Buehrle lived within a mile of me here; I'm pretty sure he must have pitched Legion ball on the ballpark nextdoor when I was playing softball years ago. I've played softball against his brother in the past, too (and former big leaguer Dennis Tankersley).

Very cool. I love my Aparicio auto. I'd love to get an Appling or Lyons auto eventually.

Here are a few new additions.

Mark Buehrle is a 4 time All Star, has thrown a No-Hitter and a Perfect Game, and even saved game 3 of the '05 World Series. My Grandpa was at his Perfect Game and Buehrle is one of his favorites. I wish Mark was still on the Sox, but I wish him nothing but the best.

Albert Belle played for the White Sox in 1997 and 1998. He was an All Star in '97 and won the Silver Slugger in '98. He had 49 homeruns and 152 RBI's that year, which broke Zeke Bonura's franchise record.

Very cool stuff, remember seeing Albert play many times, and Mark is a great pitcher, wish the Sox would have kept him!

Rhubarb, when you say "Buehrle lived within a mile of me here; I'm pretty sure he must have pitched Legion ball on the ballpark nextdoor when I was playing softball years ago. " I wondered if he still lives in this area, we live on the Illinois side of the Metro East STL area, and Buehrle is well known around here too, as is Dennis Tankersley, cool that you had contact with both of those guys! This is a great area, lots of fun baseball!

God Bless,

Kevin Mc

Wow, that's awesome. Does he come back often?

Me too Kevin. Thanks for the compliments.

Here's a few new additions.

Ozzie Guillen was the manager of the Sox during the '05 World Series run. He played for the White Sox from 1985-1997 and was a 3 time All Star and managed the Sox from 2004-2011. He was also the Manager of the Year in 2005. Thanks for this IP autograph wwechampion619.

Shingo Takatsu played for the White Sox in 2004 and 2005. He had his best season in 2004, with a 2.31 ERA in 56 games, along with 19 saves.

Brian Anderson played for the Sox between 2005-2009. He led the MLB in fielding percentage in 2008. He has since converted to a pitcher but he hasn't made it back to the Big Leagues yet.

Neal Cotts went 4-0 appearing in 69 games, throwing 60.1 innings and compiling a 1.94 ERA in 2005. Cotts won the Setup Man of the Year Award. Cotts pitched in all four games of the World Series and was the winning pitcher Game 2. Thanks so much for the freebie crazybella8.

Jose Quintana is currently one of the best pitchers on the White Sox. It is just too bad how he get so many no decisions.

Cool stuff, remember Ozzie as a player, didnt remember he was 85-97, that is a long tenure with one team, of course that was during the era when a player stayed with a team longer a lot of times, not like now!

Cool stuff, thanks for sharing, its fun to follow your great progress!

Yeah he did play for them for a long time. Thanks for the compliments! Who do you collect? I'd love to send you some cards to help out your collection.

It's nice to see the White Sox get some love! They seemed to fall off the map since their last WS win. Good luck on future additions!
