Need some help with vintage collecting

I've been a casual collector for many years and recently started appreciating the vintage cards. I have always had an interest in Shot Heard Round the World related items and cards and am trying to get all of Bobby Thomson's vintage cards. I am a little confused concering the 1953 Topps cards. I see 1991 Topps Archives reprint cards advertised for Thomson (card #330). Did the original set include a Thomson card? Basically I am looking to see if someone can provide a "Topps 1953 for Dummies" explanation! Thanks, this site has been a wealth of knowledge for me.

The original 1953 Topps set did not have #330 Bobby Thompson. The original set only had 274 cards. Topps added about 50 cards to the Archives set that were not in the original set.
