The Bench Baseball Team Trading Group

Starting in July 2015, we are a group of baseball team traders that split up into pairs each month.
I am in a football group like this on another site for several years and have had a lot of fun with it.
You send your partner a lot of cards for their team, and in return receive a similar lot of your team.
In other words you will send at least one package a month and receive at least one package as well of your favorite team.
We send Base, Rookies, Inserts and IF you're lucky a nice auto or g/u card also.
(Don't join expecting auto's or high end cards though).
I recommend a lot of 12-50 cards. If you would like to do a larger trade, discuss with the other person.
Sometimes it is frustrating if you get a 200 card lot in, but only have 50 to send.
I usually say just send a package that you would like to receive.
Sometimes a member may have some set building want lists or player want lists that are not of the team in the trade.
It would be ok to send a surprise few of those, but this mainly is for team trades.
Here are some key requirements and rules:
1) This is meant for newer cards from last 10-15 years, but you can include a small part of lot as junk era or vintage if you like
2) newer members will send first
3) obtain address by sending trade request to other person. YOu can keep it general like 'team lot' instead of listing individual cards.
4) The Thread will go out around the first of each month
5) New members can claim any team that does not have a user id next to it
6) Around the 15th of the month, I will reply to the thread with the matchups
7) Try to send first lot by 20th or 21th.
8) Other end of trade would be great if sent by end of month
9) Life happens..if you will be late sending your end, please just communicate via PM
10) When new month thread comes out, you have to reply to thread indicating you are in or our of this month's trade.
We all have times that we are too busy, so if you miss a month no big deal, you will not lose your spot
11) More to come later about how we will handle teams that are taken but team owner is not in trade that month..
12) Most important....just have fun! Let's not get wrapped up in book value, and enjoy ourselves.
