Hey Gang -

I have something I have been thinking about for a while. I was thinking of collecting players born the same day as me - April 10. I know 2 - Bob Watson and Andre Ethier. Does anyone know where I can find out if there are others - maybe even a HOFer if possible?

Thanks,

Jeff

Ha, I did my Birthday for the heck of it and this was the 1st name on the top of the list:
Stephen Strasburg

Glad I am starting that project, lol.

Thanks all. Some interesting players there. Cant believe I didnt know Griffey Sr. Gonna give it some thought. You guys are what makes this place so great.

Thanks,

Jeff

Walter Payton remains the best player born on my birthday to my knowledge. The baseball list is pretty lame, mainly a pitchers B-Day, but I did have a couple decent players:

Larry Sherry
Doug Drabek
Billy Wagner

and the best non-pitcher is Whitey Lockman. Biff Pocoroba as well, because the name is so great!

Looks like we have the same birthday, Charles Johnson, Tony Oliva, Mike Witt, Mickey Stanley, Heinie Manush, and Bengie Molina aren't bad company, Charles Johnson even got the year right. ;)

Such an impressive list on 9/2. Out of the 47 players listed, only one is a HOF, Al Spalding (pitcher). They made a grand total of five all-star games, had a lifetime average of .267, and hit a total of 469 HR's. Rich Aurilia had the biggest impact with his bat.
