Ok, I'm just going to ask, who is Fatal1ty?

Johnathan Wendel, also known by the pseudonym Fatal1ty, is a loser who lives in his parents basement..................Probably drinks a lot of Code Red Mountain Dew too......................

Not sure I'd, no make that definitely NOT, want a card of him, but that seems a bit harsh. I had not heard of him, nor do I care about the gaming world, but from the Wiki article it sounds like the guy is fairly successful. Maybe his parents live in HIS basement? Well, half a million isn't that much over time I guess, but still...

I didn't have a clue as to who he was either. Thanks for the infor so that now
at least I have some idea who he is.

I play games online, but I have absolutely NO desire to have a card of him.

Honestly, I'm sick and tired of the off-sport or non-sport cards in my packs in the first place. How many 2009 UD products in baseball did I pull a John Stockton 25th anniversary card? I HATE NBA basketball, but get stuck with one.

How about Joey the hot dog man? Kelly Slater---pro surfer? Yeah, they are good at what they do, but keep it in the non sport or miscellaneous sport releases. I can't stand the cards. I would even be angry if they randomly dropped Benchwarmer cards in packs.

If I buy baseball, I want baseball. If I buy football, I want football. Vintage is fine, but keep the sports the same!

I'm no *****, but I think gamblers on baseball cards is totally wrong. A pro surfer or a boxer, at least they are an athlete, but a professional gambler? Let's just put adult film stars in the set.

I actually like to watch Texas Hold'em every once in a while, intersting to see the startegy. But to put these players in a card set, wierd.

I'm not sure the misc. sports sets would survive alone, even today. They have usually had the cornerstone sports cards to anchor the set, like the Sportcasters, Sportspages or the SI for Kids sets. Most of the odd sport only sets never make much of a splash...bowling, tennis, soccer, olympics, even golf. The mixed sports sets, even with big 4 sports, often were much less popular than a single sport set too.

I say mix them up in a big box, toss in your normal inserts, parallels, GU and autos to promote sales as much as you can, leave out the big 4 and see what happens. I can't agree anymore with wanting only the sport you are buying, no mixed bag. If you want that type of thing, fine, then maybe someone should market and present it better and see if it can work.

When the Allen & Ginter cards were first made back in the 1800's they were a mix of all sports plus celebs! All Topps is doing is keeping it authentic.

If you don't like the cards in a certain set don't buy it. Pretty simple if you ask me.
