Chief the 1996-97 Topps #111 is not considered part of the set. It is extremely hard to find. I have never seen one myself. The following link is a collector from Trading card database commenting on it.

I had no idea that this scarce card had a different looking front than the regular 96-97 Topps and that is was not included in the factory sets. It sounds like this short print looks more like a Finest card on the front then a regular Topps card.
If I were you I would consider your 96-97 Topps set complete. I'll be surprised if anyone here has that card and if anyone does, consider me in line right behind Tom in wanting to acquire one!!!
The funny thing is that this card is a short print and yet Beckett's Plus does not list a value for it.
