Again today...all my posts are getting the error message...I love being here, but this is growing extremely frustrating. I was never in tech, but when I was working I worked closely with IT...my unprofessional opinion is that the site has more traffic than the dedicated server can handle...or there is an unresolved error...is it a money issue? do we need to start paying for more dedicated bandwidth? any thoughts?

It is definitely a huge inconvenience, and you are not the only one who is experiencing it. We have informed the owner of the site that the issue is persisting and hopefully that will lead to a solution.

I've been getting it a lot the last few days as well. I just hit refresh and the PMs get sent and my posts get posted. A little inconvenient but still manageable.

Been getting a lot of server is down error messages in the last few days, like what was already stated above.

HI Trying to load a picture for the new break, but all I get is OOPS, even though I shrunk the Photo twice!

That's how it started with me until I couldn't do it anymore.........

I just posted a picture, and had zero issues. And the thread I posted in has multiple other recent photo postings, so going to go out on a limb and say the posting photos issue isn't on The Benchs end.

As for the other issues, the owner is aware of them and they are working on them - and it does feel like everyone is feeling those issues occasionally.

No "oops" message here but twice now when I have tried to add photos to messages, it doesn't do it. It looks like it is and even shows a little progress bar, but then they arent there. Any ideas?

I can't see the error logs here anymore but, after the few tests I'm able to run as a normal use, I'd be willing to bet money the issue lies in the size of the image being attached. Not the size in Kb/Mb but the pixel dimensions. The server is unable to process images over X pixels in width and/or height. If y'all can resize your images to be a bit smaller (650 pixels on the longest side) they should work. Images are resized to that size after uploading anyways so you won't be losing anything. It's just that the server either can't handle resizing the images, or the config setting (maxImageResizePixelCount) needs to be changed to allow it to even attempt it.

The only other option is to upgrade the forum software to a newer version (XenForo 2.3 or later) which uses JavaScript to resize the images, client side, before they're actually uploaded so it wouldn't matter how big the image was.

Again, this is just what I can gather by testing on my end. It should be pretty easy to look at the server error log to see what the underlying issue is, though, for anyone with more access than me.

Experiencing a significant delay in processing speeds over the past few days. Long loading, and some times failed to load messages. Are there any suggestions/fixes?
