Please help RIPAHL - Day 12

his email is [email protected]. He says he seems to have locked himself out. He tried to change his password but cannot get any emails to confirm the email. He changed it back to the original and still no confirmation emails. So can someone help him get back in?

The owner of the site has been tagged for notification - they will be able to get the situation resolved.

All... I will relayed these messages to him via email. @ripahl stated that he continues to have locked himself out with no way of posting or confirming a changed email but will await contact.

Bump.... perhaps there is a direct email to the owners. Seems like his issue has exposed the email issue. This means no new users can register either. All is asked is someone get the site to send email conformation to complete the email change or just turn him back on. The site lacks emails which seems to be apart of the registration or account changing. Who knew.

If any take aways... dont change your POC information on the site, you will loose access.

I have contacted the tech guy but I have not gotten a response. I also posted a thread in the moderstor forum so hopefully something will get done soon. I am sorry but there is nothing else I can do. This is an issue that will have to be fixed by the owner of the site. But you are right it one aspect. If you change your email address that is registered with this site you will be locked out.

since no emails are generated, you also cannot register a new account. This means this site cannot take on any new users either

Is there a POC info we can pass on to those unsuspecting users we hate to lose

I sent an email to the person who apparently is the site owner [email protected] - I don't know what he did but it fixed this problem but I still do not get email notices of posts like this one. I just happened to check the site. I normally do it daily in the morning but the last two day have been checking it more regularly to see if the non-email notification has been fixed - apparently not. I hesitate to post anything for trade because of not getting notifications.

The notifications can be changed by the user. I will say he took care on my host access today!

I haven't got any email notifications for years. My settings are correct, but something isn't working. To be fair, this started happening when @Mike121 was the owner. At least for me, this has happened for a long time. Does anyone get email notifications?
