Like many collectors, I have become very interested in the Baseball sketch cards offered by Topps. Brian Kong who has produced some of the finest examples of this art and had his work showcased in 2009 Allen & Ginter has had his work stolen, plagiarized, hacked by a profiteer on ebay. Not surprising I know, but our community must keep knowledge of this crime in the open and limit this thief's capacity to profit. People need to closely examine potential sketch card purchases and insure they are genuine. Very importantly, this caution in buying will also go a long way to helping legitimate collections retain their value.
I for one will continue to do my part to expose this fraud for what it is, a crime.
