Question for team auto collectors

Hey guys, I was wondering what you would do with my roster situation with the Braves. Pitcher Luis Valdez and Jairo Ascencio are the same person. I have Luis cards and photos signed when he played here so do I count them as both names, or do I now need to get me something signed with the new name to mark it of the list? What would you guys do in this situation?

Its indeed a weird situation. I was also thinking what to get signed by him. I would be strange getting a Luis Valdez card signed by the new Jairo Ascencio.

Get cards signed with each name, and then see if he will do one card with BOTH names on it...that'd be awesome.

I got him with Gwinnett last weekend. Signed a Luis Valdez card with Jairo Asencio

I say get him to sign a card as Jairo Ascencio, because that's his real name.... he used the other falsely to get signed faster. I doubt he'd sign cards under the other name anymore, but the fact that you already have signed cards under that name is just a bonus I think... if you really want to count him as two roster spots on the all-time roster, you may be one of the few Braves collectors who can do so (if in fact he won't sign the other name anymore).

But really, in my opinion, you just need the one.... there may be two names that played for the Braves, but only one man... if you got him you got him.

Wow, the story about his name above does make the one auto you have very special .imo. I would try to get him to sign again under his new name. It might be a challenge, but hey who dont love a good challenge that has a great reward..

I actually have 8-10 items signed as Luis Valdez including cards and 8x10s. I am thinking of sending to him ttm I guess.
