Hey guys,
I went to just my 3rd Ranger game all season on Saturday for the Rangers' annual Season Ticket Holder Picnic. It's a nice perk to being a season ticket holder with free autographs and all the free barbeque you can eat. Some of the autograph lines were stacked with big names...unfortunately, mine was not. Each line is supposed to have 1 "marquee" player and a few other lesser players. However, one line had Beltre and Kinsler and another had Nolan Ryan and Nelson Cruz. I was kind of upset by these pairings because the 3 lines me, my mom, and Tiffany got in had the prestigious names of Mike Napoli, Tommy Hunter and David Murphy respectively heading them. Oh well, all's well that ends well and while the huge name players for the Rangers won't make an appearance in this thread, we still made out like bandits. Here's the haul:
Brett Anderson (was enticed to sign by Chris shouting something about Twitter at him
)
Andrew Bailey
Grant Balfour (Tiffany told him that she always enjoys when the A's come to town *because they sign autographs very well* and he responded by saying "I'm sure you do, you win every game!" Lol. Well...he called it! Sweep! Lol.)
Craig Breslow
Trevor Cahill
Scott Coolbaugh
Tim Crabtree
Joey Devine
Cecil Espy
Craig Gentry
Benji Gil
Gio Gonzalez
Donald Harris and Matt Harrison
Jeff Kunkel and Mike Maddux
Jackie Moore and David Murphy
Mike Napoli
Pete O'Brien
Rick Rodriguez
Jeff Russell
Mike Simms and Joel Skinner
Dan Smith and Bill Stein
Kurt Suzuki
Ron Washington, Josh Willingham, and C.J. Wilson
Here's some pictures Tiffany took of the proceedings:
Craig Gentry and Mike Napoli
Napoli signing my card
Me and Chris formulating a game plan
Trevor Cahill
Craig Breslow
Andrew Bailey
Me with Jim Kern, Dan Smith, and Donald Harris
Me and Chris bringing the heat at the Coca-Cola Sports Park in centerfield
We had a lot of fun on Saturday and we came home with a personal best 63 autographed cards and 103 total autographs! Not bad for a day at the ballpark.
Thanx for looking and God Bless!
