A mailday worthy of starting a new monthly thread....

I collect a retired guy, and so this mini-collection was my first ever experience with Bowman Chrome. It's been nearly two years, but I was finally able to work out a deal for the Superfractor. Once that was finalized, I purchased the Red Refractor (#ed 1/5) from a fellow board member giving me a near complete Bowman Chrome run minus the Gold. If anyone knows where I can find the last two 2009 BC (or Sterling) plates or the Sterling Red Refractor, I would be very interested. For now, I am stoked to get the toughest two cards.These cards look stunning in-person, the scans definitely don't do them justice.

This card was too cool to pass up. It is a bit taller than standard cards, and so it was creased when the dealer put it in the box. The quote on the back is even more true today.

I don't know how rare these are, but if any Gywnn collectors still need one for their collection and are interested PM me.

Not a tough card to find, usually in set form, but singles can be found. If you need a nice one, I broke up a couple sets. The odd shape made them much less popular for sure!

David K. - Thanks David, I don't know if you remember but you're the one who traded me the base auto for the collection.

mrmopar - Thanks for the info regarding the set. I picked this up from the dime box. Was seeing if any player collectors wanted it for a $1 shipped/SASE just to cross another one off their list. If not, it's a cool oddball and I don't mind holding onto it.
