2008 Topps 234c Boston Red Sox (Rudy Giuliani celebrating with team Red)
If anyone know the story behind why this red card was issued, I would love to know.

Nice Williams, I have one of the ones with Nomar instead of Sosa. Always liked that design

I believe it had something to do with the same people who put Mantle and President Bush on the 07 Jeter Card. Kinda funny, but would have been better if they had done it in 05 instead and not in back to back yrs with the jeter.

I can see that with 234b, Guiliani airbrushed in. It is the lone red card printed for the set that has me curious. did they mean to insert it in the opening day set, which did have a red border that year?

Nice Williams, I have one of the ones with Nomar instead of Sosa. Always liked that design

I like this set as well, I have the Williams/McGwire and one of the Williams/Nomars too. It will be many years, if at all, before I am able to pick up one of each.

Another Alvin Davis Rack

Also got these 1973 Orioles Johnny Pro because they were had for a good price and I wanted to see what they looked like in person. Didn't realize how big they would be. Each card measures 4.25 x 7.25, these cards are unpunched and quite nice. No I just have to figure out where to store them.

Seems to be, which is nice! LOL! I probably won't ever get back to the level I was at before I sold the collection, but it should be a cheaper collection.

Any idea what years those are from? I miss those types of shows. Something about being able to just browse a nice, big show and get some quality autographs for free or a few bucks instead of the $25-$99 I see at the last couple of 'spectaculars' I've attended.
