I got a few goodies in the mail on Saturday but just got time to post them. These are some nice additions to my HoF rookie card auto collection.

Nah, the catchers thing this week is just coincidence. I came up with a new project since my others have mostly stalled. I am looking for a PSA/DNA signed rookie for each HoFer that has a card. I have ten in my possession with another seven pending. I also have six future HoFers (Griffey, Thomas, Glavine, Smoltz, Chipper Jones and Greg Maddux).

Well I finally did it today, completed my 1993 Stadium Club 1st Day Issue baseball set!

It's not the way I envisioned it though, I had knocked it down to 26 cards remaining on a set that even common cards book at $3, I still had $200 in book value to go of the $3600 break up value when I saw a full set starting at $0.99. I still can't believe it was at $227 as I prepared to make a last second snipe bid and got it for $252.49 plus $10 shipping.

Oh man, that's a situation where you can't NOT bid because it'd probably cost you almost that much to just buy the last 26 cards...but it has to make you feel like you wasted a lot of time finding those original 724 cards. I feel for you. Maybe you can at least help somebody else going for that set and use the cards to trade towards 94's and 95's you need.

No pics today (been lazy with the scanner lately) but I wanted to give an update on some stuff from the August thread...I posted a few cards I found in a quarter bin, one of which was a 2001 Topps Heritage Chrome/552 Juan Uribe. I put it up on eBay a couple of days ago for $49.99 or best offer, and today got an offer of $40. I could not click accept fast enough. So this is just a heads up to you bargain bin hunters out there, if you see any 2001 Heritage Chromes, pick them up. Set builders go crazy for them and you might be able to sell it for 160X what you paid like me.

2003 Flair Sweet Swatch Autos Jumbo Card # JB-SSAG SN # 1/10 Ok so I have no idea what version this is. I have the regular version /218 and the Gold version /25 and according to everything I have found the only other version is the Platinum Version which is a 1/1. So no idea where this one came from. Only thing I can think of it is from the Fleer Bankruptcy sale. It has a legit foil stamped SN. So if anyone has an idea I would love to hear it!! Help me out pros!

Bud - Those are some nice non-sports...again!

Matt - nice pick ups, especially the Rose cards. I know some people don't like them but the black and white somehow offsets the fact there are no logos.
