Redemption Ripoff !!??!!

First of all I absolutely despise redemption cards. Here is my latest reasoning.

I have had 2 redemption cards from 2010 Topps Chrome BB ( Luke Hughes) since shortly after the product came out. This past summer - 3 years later - I even phoned Topps to inquire about these redemptions. I was told they were still waiting for the signee to complete the signed cards. I was asked if I wanted replacements and I agreed for a replacement auto. ( over 8 months ago) still no cards.

Tonight I checked the Topps website to see if there were any updates on these redemptions. ( checked a month ago and they were marked "pending"- so I was anticipating getting something in the mail soon) and now tonight they are marked as completed and shipped 6/2/11.!!!!

What the "H"! I've been waiting for these for over 3 years and now the website is saying they were shipped 2 1/2 years ago! Do I call again or write a letter to Topps.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Rick, Topps is usually pretty good on their redemptions but occasionally players don't cooperate too well. I'm waitjng on two redemptions myself. I don't like redemptions either. I would keep calling them and you finally might connect with someone who has a idea what's going on. I plan on calling by the end of next week. Hope all goes well for you. Butch

Rick, I would call them explain what is going on and see what happens. I can't stand redemptions either and after about redeeming 20 I stopped. If a player in my PC has redemptions I don't even go after the card until the live cards come out that is how much I hate them.

I agree with Butch and Trish about calling them. I'm been waiting close to 2 years on a Manny Machado duel auto with Culver Cito (not sure about the second signer) red from Bowman Platinum......pulled from a pack a two years ago....Manny signed his half of the card..but they waiting on the second guy to sign!!
