Recently, I have had a couple of traders let me know they were having trouble navigating my site because it was too confusing.

What I hope I can ask for and get from some fellow benchies is some constructive crticism on how to make my website better.

I'd appreciate any input.

Here's the site:

Thanks in advance!!

***EDIT***
I have changed the way I list the cards on my pages...well, for 2010, at least. Let me know what you think!!

your site is easy to navigate and you have some really nice cards. i've checked your site many times; i only wish i had some of your needs which seem to be limited. overall, your site is fine.
don

I don't see a problem...its organized easy to navigate

all is good in my opinion

Thanks for the positive feedback, guys, I really do appreciate it. COming from two seasoned collecting veterans like you guys, it's a compliment. Thanks. :D

Honestly the only thing I could even think of recommending was to break out the 2007, 2008, 2009 links into a separate inserts / rookies links. That is just my personal preference though.

Much better site that the majority of them out there.

Thanks for the input.

I thought about breaking down the more recent sets, but I have to admit that I get confused by "True Rookies" and "Rookie Card" titles. I guess with football it would be easier, though.

I will take your advice and create sections for Base, Inserts, Parallels, and Relic/Autos.

Simple and neat! If I had a site, yours would be prefect! The only thing missing that I can see is pictures. Maybe one on opening page.... a picture of Fresno State mascot! Best regards, David

I've been impressed with the Google documents. They may not have all the bells and whistles that Microsoft does but most people don't use them anyway. I use the spreadsheet program at work for some simple info that I share with a few of my clients.

Also it is nice to display dozens of photos on one page.

Great site!

Frank

I haven't really messed around with Google docs much, but I will give it a go. One thing that would sell me on it is if it were "searchable" or "filterable" like Excel.

As for pictures, I have all my pictures from each category (ie., baseball auto's, football GU'd, etc.) on one page. Does it not show up like that for you when you visit my Picasa page?

When I click on your Picasa link it takes me to a page with links to several albums, each album containing photos of whatever theme is in them.

Easy to navigate...not a problem...now if it was like beckett...then it would be a nightmare

Loved it! If your having problems finding a card of a Bulldog Player...Let me know...I shop at The Bases Loaded in Fresno and they try to keep cards of Bulldog players past and present. Best regards, David

I ALWAYS have trouble finding cards of my guys because most are commons except Garza, Terry Pendleton, Trent Dilfer, David Carr (when he was a rookie, at least!), and Henry Ellard. Besides those guys, most all other cards sit in commons boxes where I can't get them.

Any help you can provide finding cards I need would be greatly appreciated.

If someone said they were having difficulty with your site, maybe they meant technical problems which you have no control over. Your site is well organized.

A couple of collectors have used the phrases "difficult to navigate" and "confusing", which I assume where not "technical" in nature.

Perhaps they were trying to access my page when Google was down, or something...hadn't thought about that.
