Resignation

Hi All,

Nothing against anyone who has worked on this site for all the years that it has been great, but I respectfully resign. I have spent the last five years fielding needs for password resets and even offers to buy the site prior to Mike taking it over and shuttling them to the correct person and it mostly falls on deaf ears I appreciate how I got back into the hobby on this site, but the fact that we have folks who would defend the site owner who takes weeks just to reset a password for a member really is crazy to me. Hopefully I am still able to trade here, but I can no longer represent this site in good conscience.

I'm with you on the owner thing but people think he's the Bee'sknee's and I have brought this issue up in the past myself. I actually left SCF years ago because of this very same person so I get it.

Yep, I have no excuse. I haven't been an active owner. I am going through personal things right now, but that's not an excuse. I am sorry @AndyDrummond is leaving because of me not being active here. I hope that I can get back in good graces with users that are not happy with me as I get more involved. I know I will have to earn that and I hope I will.

It was Pete up until about 3 years ago. He sold the the site to Mike (@Mike121 ) who was the one who did the rebuild and got The Bench back up and running. Mike than sold it to @Shaggy about 1.5 to 2 years ago. I may be a bit off on my timeline, but this is where we are now.

Hey all, I appreciate the thank you posts. I just wanted to say this isn’t just about @Shaggy and I do believe he has the best of intentions. As you may have noticed he has been online the last few days. I just wasn’t ready to go through any more of the site floundering while my limited hobby time could be spent on more fulfilling collecting activities.

Thanks but I doubt you would be moving on if I was more active before all this. I hope you will consider coming back on as staff if you feel I have done better job running the place.
