I'll be scanning...

Autos
1/1
all game used.
Graded... Should I just scan one bgs 9.5 if I have like 15 of them or should I do them all just to show?
Should I scan all my serial numbered cards? And if only some what number should I ONLY scan to. Like only scan the ones numbered to 50 or under? Thanks!

I don't think we can help too much, only with general advice. Like "do what makes you happy". I just scan as I need them, I just have way too much crap to scan it all. So if I'm having a discussion that requires a scan of a card that I have, I just go home and scan it when I get a chance. It certainly isn't organized, but it's what works for me. Time is so precious to me, I can't imagine wasting the time to scan/crop/upload a card and then never use the scan for anything.

I once scanned all of my CC 1/1's, I think I had 110 at the time. I regret it now, it's mostly pictures of ****** press plates that take up room in my bucket. I made a thread back then, and updated it when I scanned more 1/1's, to keep me motivated to complete the project. That's the only time I have used the majority of those scans.

yeah printing plates are a hassle, especially when they don't come out well in the scans. You mainly do it to show off your collection, as well as know what you have easily. And if you have a printing plate you obviously are the only one who has that one, although there are 4 that make a card so...

You would also clearly have too much time on your hands. With that much free time I think you could save the earth single handedly by planting trees or something...

Or do a cover song of that awesome tune by Styx, "Too Much Time on my Hands"

Well I'm going to scan around 1000 lol. That'll take me AWHILE. Probably a week of going at it strong.

i scan everything. All my gu autos and so forth. not only that i also scan the backs too. I scan alot! LOL

I just scan everything I think people would want to trade for and leave the rest out. I also just scan the best of my PC, because there's no point in clogging my Flickr up with a bunch of scans of base and #ed cards that aren't FT.

I meant mainly for PC. I show off my cards mainly for other people to see the collection and to quickly see what I have for inventory :)

I only scan the GU and autos except for my Gehrig cards for which I scan all of them. This is easier in trading and for inventory purposes as stated. But it is also key that you place a description for those cards you want to trade. Many folks do not do that and it is hard to tell what some scans are.

Scan it all

Maybe group some stuff together that is the same or similar and take a pic w/ a digital cam. There is always ways to make room.

Show us all your stuff!
