I am looking to sell my collection of mostly Baseball and Football Cards. I am 63 and started collecting since I was 11. I have 2 adult sons who are not interested in any of it so I am going to sell. My collection is heavy in baseball during the 70's and 80's. After that it is mostly football cards, I have autographs, memorabilia cards really a little bit of everything.

What do you have in the 1970s baseball? Would you sell individual sets, teams, players or are you looking to sell the lot as a whole?

I plan on selling it any way I need to, right as of now I have pulled most of the stars for the the 70's sets I have, except 74 which is complete and 78 which is almost complete, They are in albums. I am hoping in to get 250-300 of the 74 and 225-250 for the 78, As for the rest I will do whatever I need to sell them.

Right now I am most interested in the years 1970, 71 and 72. I started collecting in the late 50s and by the early 70s had tapered off (began college in fall 72 and a whole other life opened up). Anyway, what might you have in those three years? Thanks.

Are you just want stars or do you just want the card number?

I have the 71 star's pic on my phone
Willie Stargell
Harmon Killebrew
Steve Carlton
Rod Carew
Nolan Ryan

Minor Stars
Tony Oliva
Sparky Anderson
Leo Deurocher
Joe Torre

Card numbers are good. Looking to fill in my set needs, regardless of player (though I do like star player cards). Depending on how much you have, may look to buy in set lots. At this point just need to see what you may have. Thanks

1972 I have
Willie Mays
Hank Aaron
Carl Yastrzemski
Roberto Clemente IA
Joe Torre Boyhood
Wille Stargell Boyhood
Brooks Robinson
Bert Blyleven
Ted Williams Mgr
Sparky Anderson
Tony Perez
Bob Gibson
Denny McLain

Again, I will try to get number tonight

Names are good for the star players, easily referenced. Depending on how many cards you have yearly, a numbered list would be good.
Have you considered a price for the yearly lots (70-72)?

I would be interested in the following years:
1969 - anything available
1970 - anything available
1971 - anything available
1972 -- stars & hi #'s
1973 -- stars & hi #'s

For 1974 & 1975, need like 8 cards (some common, some star) for each to finish up the sets.

Here is the list of 71s and 72s that I have, the 71s are not in the greatest shape the 72s are pretty good

There's a few 73s 75s and 76's I'm after. How are you situated on those years?

Also interested in Football.

You need to check on if you have high number cards in 1971 Topps (#644 thru 752) and 1972 Topps (657 thru 787). Those tend to be hard to find and higher demand. You probably would be advised to list those card numbers here since those are most likely the cards people need here.

I someone interested in both 71 and 72 as one lot and if they don't take them I will try separating. Thank you for the advise!
