Sending C/O College?

Has anyone had success sending to college players c/o there team/athletic department? The reason I ask is I have an 8x10 of Stephen Schilling of the University of Michigan football team. I wasnt able to get it signed at there fan day. Hes a senior, so I was thinking of sending it to:
Stephen Schilling
C/O Michigan Athletic Department
1000 South State Road
Ann Arbor, MI 48109-2201

I know hes probably busy with class and football, but has anyone tried players from any colleges? Or coaches?

Maybe you could call their athletic dept and see what their policy is for it...some schools don't allow it, but some of them do...good luck!
