OK, so I have someone who wants to purchase about 120 cards form me but he lives in Canada. I am unsure how much to charge him for shipping. From what I see, the package should not way more than a pound, so shipping is $10.55 via first class international service.

A couple questions,
1) Is that correct?
2) Does this include delivery confirmation? I thought I heard all mail to Canada now includes DC - the reason it costs so much now to mail a few cards.
3) What is the best way yo mail this many cards if First Class is not the way to go?

Thanks!
Obed

I only make PWE trades to Canada anymore, in which 3 stamps covers the postage. Crazy expensive otherwise, like >$7 for a simple bubble mailer.

Just did a large bubble envelope with about 24 base cards.......cost $8.55 about three hundred % over the cost about a year ago. Good job of killing trading with other members outside of the USA. Best regards, David

The $10.55 is correct if you purchase postage at the PO. If purchased online, the cost is $9.50 and includes D/C. D/C is unavailable if purchased at the PO. A large bubble mailer (Approx 9x12) with the cards divided into 4 or 5 equal stacks is the way to go. If you do not have paypal or don't like to use their shipping (I don't--I find USPS easier), you can purchase the postage right from USPS.com. It's easy and they accept credit/debit cards (paypal as well).

Just sent a BB mailer to jgdowns and it cost $6.91 via USPS..................Paid with PP and the package weighed 3 oz..................It's not cheap but at least I don't have to deal with the lines and attitude at the PO.......................

you can send ~8 cards or so in a wide toploader and a 3-stamp PWE; or twice as many cards if you send two PWE's. still cheaper, if you don't have any GU you don't want creased
