I really like this subset from the 1960 Topps set. I just picked up the final 3 cards this weekend. A total of 32 cards. The 1960 set is not as loved as the 59 or 61, but for some reason I like the horizontal pics that year.

The big Rookies here are:
Frank Howard $25
Jim Kaat $40
Carl Yastrzemski $200

Very nice, and for the most part the cards are in very solid shape:) How long did it take you to finish it off?

I bought the Yaz in 1992 to start the whole thing. Then I left it sit for 15 years. Worked on it in 2007 till I was half way. Got back to work on it this summer. Finished it Sunday.

I am putting together the whole set, and am about 30% complete. Mostly ex or better. But a few that are worse.

I am working on tons of sets all the time, so I come and go with where my efforts are. This summer I finished off my nemesis when I got the last 2002 Bowman chrome card that I needed. With 173 short print rookies, that set took lots of time and $.

Love the vintage sets. Trying to build all Topps since 1959.

Thanks for looking.

I am trying to build the Topps sets from 1959 to the present also. Only need a couple of cards for the 1973 and 1975 sets but the 1972 high numbers are being a killer for me. The high series are a challenge for all the earlier Topps stuff.
