Just needed a little help. I just bought a nice lot of Cubs from ebay that I needed and realized as soon as I opened the box they came from a smoker. Has anybody figured out how to air them out or if they ended up messing up other cards they were stored with.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

I stored some old cards from a smoker in baking soda. Some people will recommend putting the cards on a rack above the baking soda, but I carefully placed the cards in layers in the baking soda. It took about 10 days before they didn't smell of smoke.

Baking soda is cheap, too...$2 for a big box at Wal-Mart.

Store them in an enclosed place like the microwave or large tupperware with a bit of vinegar in a small dish or medicine cup.
