So Topps pulled a fast one

Was going through my stack of Mets cards this afternoon and noticed these two Juan Soto cards. The one on the left is a parallel of the base #700. The one on the right is the holiday version. Now according to Beckett, both are the base photo. My question is, why would Topps change the picture for the Soto but everyone else has the same picture as their flagship card.... kinda irritating honestly, thinking I had a variation.

Probably...HAHA....actually if they wanted to do that it would have been Pete Alonso, instead of Juan Soto....
