Saturday night was the 47th Annual York Sports Night, and the second that I have attended. The featured baseball guest was Steve Garvey (last years was Goose Gossage). The mans hair looks exactly like it did in his playing days, he might be the original Jimmy Johnson!!

Also in attendance was Brad Bergesen of the Orioles, who was nice enough to sign both cards that I had.

The York Revolution (independent minor league team) also supplied a couple of signers. I was able to get their manager Andy Etchebarren on the program cover.

And their mascot (Downtown) for my son (must be tough to be write neatly with the big costume hands!!)

And finally, the one my son liked the best (who doesn't like cheerleaders, especially Eagles cheerleaders):

Something tells me they will be going to show and tell at some point in the future..
They also had some Penn State football players signing and a couple of Hershey Bears (AHL Hockey), which I ran out of time before being able to get to them. You get 45 minutes to get as many autos as you can, majority of my time was waiting in line for Garvey. But for a $10 entrance fee, not a bad nights work.
Thanks for looking.
