Steve Martin & the Steep Canyon Rangers

I was fortunate enough to see one of my favorite Bluegrass groups in Bellingham last night. The Steep Canyon Rangers are probably most famous for playing with Steve Martin even thought they are not a back up group. They were there own successful entity before Steve decided to dust off his Banjo and start recording. In fact they just won a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album (Nobody Knows You). Steve Martin did not appear with them but I jumped at the chance to get his and the rest of the gangs autographs for $20.

Was pRE signed or a meet n greet?

It was pre-signed. There were only about 3 of the Rare Bird Alert left because they are getting on the back end of their tour, so I snatched it up. I do already have a digital copy of it but it's nice to have the autographs, expecially since I'm a fan of Martin's comedy AND banjo playing, given that I play myself.
