Sunday July 31st Angels @ Tigers IP

Well after getting shut out on autos on the Saturday game, I had better luck on Sunday.

It was Picture Day with the Tigers in which autos were not permitted so the field was crowded which led to me positioning myself above the Angels dugout. As Dan Haren was coming in off of throwing long toss (110+ pitches ina CG the game before) I called out to him and he was nice enough to sign...



Then I noticed Fernando Rodney in the dugout and called out to him. He paused and danced for a minute and then was gracious enough to sign my ball...



I was pretty excited with the two signatures and then got to see quite the excellent game! BBTN called the bottom 7/top 8 of this game the inning of the year!

Congrats! Are they both on the same ball or did they both just deicde to use the side panel? I went 1 for 3 at Comerica this year on autographs so I feel your pain from Saturday.

You gotta learn that sharpies on a ROMLB is not a good idea in the long run... if you want a better Rodney, I got an extra ball signed SS that I could deal ya.

I have absolutely no problems with sharpies on baseballs. Have some as old as 15 years without any amount of problems. And since all of my IPs are personal, I have no interest in trading them so theyre perfect for me. I have no interest in the Rodney

If you keep them in the case the balls are sold in you will not have a problem. I have 30+ sharpie signed baseballs and not a single one has fading that wasn't originally apparent from the pen
