Yesterday, I headed down to the Farm Show Complex where they have an outdoor flea market every weekend just to walk around and enjoy the weather. I wind up looking a this one dealer's table and I find an oversized milk crate with 9-pocket pages filled with basketball, football, and baseball cards. I thumb through it a bit and ask the guy how much he wants for the entire crate. $100. I talk him down and pay him $75 for everything. I haven't gone through everything yet, but if you can imagine a pile of 9-pocket pages that stacks 3 feet high, this is what I got. The basketball is mostly 1990's stuff. If anyone needs basketball cards to use for TTM requests, please let me know.

The football cards are mostly 1960's and 1970's stuff. The cards themselves are in great shape. I haven't quite decided what I'm going to do with them since I don't really collect anything football. I may be looking to sell them once I go through them all.

The baseball cards are my favorite. The pile stacks about 2 feet high with about 1/4 of it being 1990's stuff. The rest of it is 1962 through 1978. The 1960's cards are in "good" shape and will be great for TTM requests, as there are a good number of names of players who sign pretty regularly. The 1970's stuff is in "Mint" condition, especially the 1970 and 1971 cards. It's going to be fun going through them. I will keep everyone posted on what I find and please let me know if you are looking for anything in particular.

Nice find, nice condition '71's are tougher to find. With that black border that set is very condition sensitive.

Great find. I am always interested in 60s and 70s Chicago Bears cards if you have any and interested in making a deal.

Nice pick ups
sometimes those flea markets finds are outstanding to say the least. If the football are 1970,s could you please let me know as i started to put thatb set together and would be interested in some
Thank you
Chief

Nice find! Once you get everything sorted, I would be interested in better condition 70 & 71 baseball. Thanks.

Thanks everyone. I will keep everyone posted on what I find. I did finish sorting the baseball by years and don't have any 1973 cards.

Spencer, it was the Fairgrounds in Raleigh. It's a great place to find hidden hobby treasures.

I have sent PM's to everyone that was intersted in the football cards. Looking forward to hearing back from you guys. Thanks.
