One TTM return and it was fantastic
Carl Erskine AA ball(Carl played for the AA with the Ft Worth Cats in '58, 59) He was so gracious and not only added 3 signed cards for my nephew, he also included a signed index card for him and a note which read...
"Pitching tips #1 A pitcher is actually a defensive position but you have to have an "offensive" attitude-take charge-no fear of batter-respect yes, not fear.
#2 Pitch to your target. If you don't like the catcher's glove-pick another target-his mask, his shin guard, etc.
#3 Be prepared as best you can-then win or lose you hold your head high...
The ball looks sweet(thanks to MBarnhill for the idea of sending a ball to him)
Not only SS signed but included the following
No Hit Cubs 6/19/52 No Hit Giants 5/12/56 1955 World Series Champs
National League Leader 20-6 1953 All Star 1954 World Series 1949 '52 '53 '55 '56 '59 World Series Strikeout Record 14 vs Yasnkees 1953
It looks pretty awesome

Then I took my nephew to Rangers/Marlins tonight...Not many people signed, Stanton signed for 4 or 5, McKeon signed a bunch but I did not bring anything for him..but we did get a couple of guys
Jim Sundberg 2/2 after the pre-game show
and
Hanley Ramirez 1/1 OMLB 1/1 card
he then proceeded to hit 2 bombs w/ one being a grand slam..After the game, home plate ump Joe West(yes that guy) threw a ball to my nephew..always nice to get another GU to use next time!!

Thanks for reading!!
