TCU/Cal St Fullerton IP

After watching 5 hours of youth baseball, I decided to drive to FW and caught the last 3 innings of these two top 15 teams going at it...Very intense game with a near-brawl in the 9th...Afterwards, I knocked out these Fullerton guys for buck1982 and Arron...(note to everyone sending these USA cards TTM, etc..PREP them well....they really suck for autos.I thought I prepped well with baby powder but was not impressed with the autos..Buck, you and Arron will get the better looking ones of the lot..No worries

Here are some scans of what I got..The Fullerton guys were very nice(it helped that they won and I was the only person graphing)..

Nick Ramirez 6/7(asked if he could keep one of the Bowman Platinum..what could i say? NO.. 1 for buck 1 for Arron

Noe Ramirez 5/5(1 for buck 1 for Arron)

Michael Lorenzen 5/5 (1 for buck)

And this year they have Kirk Saarloos as one of the coaches 6/6(2 for Arron)

At least my jersey cards turned out well..I did not stay to try to get TCU(Winkler and Purke)..I think they were having some closed-doors meeting after the wheels fell off and they imploded in the ninth, giving up 5 runs..

Sorry Fullerton is only here this weekend....I asked those guys about TTM and they said they have gotten a few. They were all very nice guys and asked questions while they stood and signed outside the dugout(TCU has one of those nets that allows you to hand them cards but you could never get a baseball through it)..While the fans there can get pretty wild(drunk college kids shouting "you suck" basically) they seemed to appreciate that I am just a baseball fan and at least knew something about them,the college game, etc..All seemed very humble and gracious...

Excellent. Thanks for the help. I have sent several out in the mail and used both powder and eraser on them and they still have not turned out the best. Might go get a Staedler and try it out as they tend to work better on glossy cards
