Hello Fellow Benchies,

I am working on putting Cleveland Indians team sets together from the 2013 Topps. My question is: What do you consider a team set? All the cards from Series I & II or all the cards from Series I, II & Update cards?

I was planning on putting the cards from Series I & II into Team Sets and doing the Update in a seperate Team set. Some of my fellow collectors don't feel the cards from Series I & II is a complete team set and I should add the update cards.

I want to get some more opinion's on how people on "The Bench" feel. Please post any comments.

I consider a team set to include anyone pictured on the team. in the case of Topps I, II & Update, all three would be the full set. The SP crap that happens so often these days ruins that, unless there is a variation for a SP card that offers a budget-minder collector the option to have the complete team without breaking the bank. I actually don't know if this happens, because I don't build sets and if i buy team lots/sets, they are usually the cheap ones anyway.

My two cents is Regular series cards 1 and 2 constitute a team set. The update set is in my opinion a stand alone set as well.

I've always considered the Update set as Series 3, but I wish Topps would number them picking up where Series 2 left off. For that reason I certainly understand why most think of it as a separate set.
