In case you didn't know, you can see the ID of a winning bidder if you are one of the other bidders, otherwise you can't. The winner may be willing to trade or sell the card we need, but we have to be able to contact the winner.

Some times the seller will give out the email of the winner.....but some won't.....protecting their customers from unwanted emails or spam.

might as well try and contact the seller.
Hit and miss..some will cancel auction and sell you the card that you want....others will let the auction runs it course....Best regards, David

That is why I commented. If you place a bid, when the auction is over, you can see who the high bidder was and contact them directly, assuming (1) it's not a private auction and (2) you didn't win yourself! I almost always place a small bid on items, just in case I lose and need to know who won it.

I placed a bid, so that we can ID the eventual winner. I am assuming nobody on this site is going to chase 67 cards, when only 1 of 6 needed is in the lot. Our best hope is that the eventual winner will part with that one for the cause.

If that is the only one we need to finish the set........I would do it in a heart beat.... One of the reasons for letting everyone know....someone is betting on the auction...so others don't place bids and jackup the cost to the winner...We could always...once we win the auction... place a bin for $25.00 on the 66 cards..and keep the one that we need. It's tricky dealing with the winner and sometimes ...they will not reply to your email or drag on the trade talks for weeks (it happen to me! I offered 6 that he needed for the 3 we needed and after 3 weeks...He said...no thanks and I even offer to buy them from him at a great price! But still no deal!). Best regards, David
